Sydney harbour bridge and our clif top walk Bondi to Bronte

some of the many steps we climbed up and down daily on our morning walks, good for the glutes.

Janet and I on a walk near Mike's house, we were on our way to the Balmain Baths where Dawn Fraser trained for the Olympics.

I am sooooooooooo cute in my little hat

Well George can breathe a sigh of relief, the Father of the Bride Speech is over, George's quiet humour delivered a good speech, and Adrian's speech brought tears to everyone's eyes. Eleni looked elegant and beautiful as did Annie and Tammy who were bridesmaids. The reception was at the Adelaide Town Hall, a very historic old (for us) building, the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed themselves. We got to bed about 2am only to be woken up by my darling rand daughter Thushari at 5am, by 10am Lanthi and I were snoozing on the couch!! Lanthi arrived on the Wednesday a little stressed as it was the first time she had flown with Thushari, Thushari was an angel having slept for most of the flight. She gave me the big stare when I met them, working out who I was all over again, but after a couple of minutes after chatting to her, I had the biggest smile. She is at a delightful age and is a very happy little girl, she sits up on her own, crawls, and wants to stand all the time, she has a few teeth almost ready to pop through., It was a lovely time being with her, reading stories, singing songs, changing nappies, and bathtime fun. When I see her next in July she will be almost one year old and almost walking! Andrew was also home for the week and we managed to squeeze in his birthday and Mother's day, as we are away for both of these occassions.
Janet and I also went to Sydney for five days and stayed with a friend of hers who lives right on Sydney's beautiful harbour in Balmain, (lucky us). I had fun travelling on the ferries, we also shopped!! at Paddington, saw Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Bondi beach, also did a cliff top walk from Bondi to Bronte, The art gallery and The Princess Diana collection, her wedding dress was exquisite, and it also feautured a selection of her clothes and other personal items, well worth a visit. We also went for a walk with Mike around historic Balmain each morning, which I really enjoyed, lots of history and beautiful expensive houses, ending up with a coffee on Darling Street. The weather was warm with lovely balmy evenings, Sydney is truly a beautiful city, tropical and lots of lovely frangipani trees, my favourite!
